There will be an All-Ivy GALA Art & Cocktails Series at the glorious Metropolitan Museum of Art on Friday, March 26, 6-9 pm.  We will see the drawings of Bronzino, Victorian photocollage and contemporary photographs while meeting other gay & lesbian alumni interested in art.

6:00 to 7:00 PM - Intro & Meet & Greet - Art Study room of The Ruth & Harold D. Uris Center for Education (81st Street entrance, ground level)

6:30 - Presentation by Malcolm Daniel Curator in Charge, Department of Photographs
 
7:00 PM to 7:45 PM (or later) - Gallery viewing-3 special exhibits (see below)
 
7:45 (or later) to 8:45 - Cocktails at the Great Hall Balcony Bar on the 2nd floor


From 6-7 pm we will mix and mingle and listen to a short talk, prepared just for us.

At about 7PM we will head upstairs through the Greek and Roman Art gallery, and we'll break up into groups to go to see one of a few of special exhibits:

Afterwards, those who wish to will have cocktails at the Great Hall Balcony Bar on the 2nd floor. 

We invite all of our Ivy League, Seven Sisters, NYU, Stanford, Duke, UVA, Georgetown, Northwestern, Amherst, USC & Emory friends. Alumni, faculty, staff & students 21+ are all welcome.

Cost: Admission to the museum involves a cash donation -- any amount is welcome; there will be a cash bar as well.  The suggested donation is $20 for adults, $15 seniors (65+), $10 students. Students of Columbia, Barnard, Bard and the Institute of Fine Arts at New York University receive free admission with student id, as do Met Museum members.
