The Freedom Tower? The West Side Stadium? New York architecture needs a swift kick in the ass. This February, Les Freres Corbusier finally puts the punk rock back into urban planning: Amidst a blaze of streaming media, ridiculous choreography, and dozens of live fornicating rabbits, a desperate battle is waged over the creation of New York’s bridges, highways, and public housing. Freemasons dance, FDR levitates, and Daniel Liebeskind silently weeps... None shall be spared. Profiled by Time Out New York as one of the four young theatre companies to watch in the City, Les Freres’ previous shows have been called, “Inspired” by the New Yorker, “Daring” by The New York Times, and “Brave” by The New York Sun. From the OBIE Award winning creators of A Very Merry Unauthorized Children's Scientology Pageant comes their newest hit: Boozy Additional Info/Contact: Running from February 12 through March 5 |
