Come to an intimate Master's Tea to hear about Ms Aziza Ahmed's work on securing women's right to health around the world. As the Human Rights Officer and Women's Law and Public Policy Fellow of the International Community of Women Living with HIV/AIDS, Aziza Ahmed has been part of several key women's human rights initiatives, including working to hold the government accountable for sterilizing HIV positive women in Namibia, assessing the impact of criminalization of HIV transmission and exposure on women, and advocating for the rights of HIV positive women at the United Nations (UN). Prior to her role at the ICW, Ms. Ahmed worked with the Planned Parenthood Association of South Africa, Breakthrough India, and with the United Nations Development Fund for Women (UNIFEM), and the United Nations Development Fund for Children (UNICEF).
