This Martin Luther King Jr. Day, make it a day on, not a day off! Complete hands-on service

projects to benefit organizations all over New York City in celebration of Dr. Kings empowering

message of service.  Last year, nearly 3,000 youth and family volunteers participated

in this annual New York City volunteer day.  Ages 5 18, accompanied by an adult if under 14.

 

Volunteer Leader Role:

·         8:00 a.m. arrival, 3:30 p.m. departure

·         Lead a service project station at MLK High or PS 57, explaining a service project and the community issue it address to children, teens, and families

·         This time slot includes Orientation, set-up, and clean-up.

 

Additional Volunteer Opportunity:

·         Interested in helping with set-up?  This takes place Sunday, January 17th and involves some heavy lifting.  Please contact Abby at the number below for more information.
