Written by and starring YU alum Megan Griswold. Edited by Tony Award-winner Spencer Kayden (Urinetown) and Pam Houston, “Fix It: A Comedy About Love, Self-Help and the Recovery From Both” hilariously explores how far one woman will go to get her groove back. Sassy Megan Griswold looks like she has it all – down to her Tory Burch shoes. But when faced with marital catastrophe, she relies on a lifetime of self-help training to fix it. In the process, she clocks more than 10,000 hours in everything from acupuncture, homeopathy and yoga to the nuttier EMDR (that’s eye movement desensitization reprogramming for the uninitiated). The result is a riotous and poignant tale of personal change. Griswold holds degrees from Yale and Columbia. In February she made her National Public Radio debut on All Things Considered with her commentary, “Getting Some Self-Help from Saint Valentine.” Show times for Fix It: A Comedy about Love, Self-Help and the Recovery from Both are: Friday, July 27th at 8:30pm Saturday, July 28th at 6pm Sunday, July 29th at 2pm & 6:45pm Wednesday, August 1st at 8:30pm Thursday, August 2nd at 6:30pm
