If you enjoy musicals, come on down to Park Slope, Brooklyn and catch a performance of that racy 60's hit, "Hair" It's playing at the Gallery Players Theater (http://www.galleryplayers.com) which is currently enjoying its 38th season as Brooklyn's best off-Broadway theater. I'm playing bass in the stage band and the repertoire consists of 40+ songs including, of course, "Age of Aquarius" and "Good Morning Starshine". The show sold out its opening weekend, but tickets are still available for the remaining 12 performances: **FYI, I will not be at the 11/5 performance!** Thursday through Sunday 10/21 - 10/24 10/28 - 10/31 11/4 - 11/7 - Thursday, Friday & Saturday shows @ 8pm - Sunday matinees @ 3pm Thanks, I hope to see you! Over 8,000 volunteers will spread out across the city to clean up playgrounds and school libraries, paint murals and line games, and more. You'll help create a better environment for children. LIVE AT THE LOFT- SPECIAL EVENT Come As You Aren't Costume Party with Magician Ben Robinson & Special Guests October Project's Live at the Loft unplugged series of concerts returns this Halloween weekend! Come join OP (featuring Marina Belica & Julie Flanders, both Morse '81) in a beautiful, intimate Soho loft setting. Sleight-of-hand master Ben Robinson, now a loft show regular, will open the show with his infamous guillotine trick. Friday night's guest will be singer/songwriter Jeff Cohen who has released 2 CDs and written songs that appear on top-ten releases and in major motion pictures. Saturday night's guest is the amazing singer/songwriter Joy Askew, who has performed with Peter Gabriel, Joe Jackson, and Laurie Anderson. Costumes are encouraged and a prize will be given for best costume. Halloween-themed drinks and snacks will be served. Be sure to reserve tickets early. Reservations secured by Advance Purchase Only.
