The program consists of monthly visits to New Haven public schools. Pairs of volunteers are designated at the beginning of the year and assigned to a school. Here they will teach a different environmental lesson every month, each ending with a creative project. YSEC will work mostly with fourth graders, but will likely to be adding a high school as well.
